Do you remember when people used to ask what you wanted to be when you grew up? Many of us responded with something courageous like a fireman, or a movie star. We dreamed of lives filled with skill and courage where fear never entered our minds. Our future consisted only of possibilities, right?
So what happened to our empowering imagination, as we grew older? Where did fear creep into our existence and take up permanent residency in our minds and bodies? Somehow and somewhere a lot of fear crept into our being and is now part of our everyday lives. Whether we know it or not, we have learned to partner up with fear. Sadly, this bad partner is pushing out the wonderful imagination we used to have.
Can you remember what you wanted to be when you were little? May be not. May be you’ve been using your imagination over the years for the less-fulfilling things in life… Now it’s time to get back on track and get back your childhood dreams again! Come on… try hard to remember what you wanted to be as a child…come on… think…. What did the young you want to be when you only saw life through the glasses of possibilities and superheroes?
Do you remember now? Good! Well, what’s stopping you from having that dream again? Come on, you’re not five years old anymore. You’re now
older and better equipped to reach for that dream than you were back when you gave up on your dreams…
Your renewed positive and limitless imagination of being something great, where fear isn’t even considered, is still inside of you. You’re bigger, older, stronger, faster, smarter, and everything else that adds up to being more capable now than when you were younger and let the dream get away. You can do this!
