Motion creates emotion. And emotion is the source of energy in taking on new challenges and thus succeeding in life. Have you ever played sports or even just gone for a run? How many of you have done this and have eventually found yourself getting your second wind? You’re out there physically exerting yourself and your mind is wandering off to wondering how much longer you can take this physical exertion. You force yourself to do just a little bit more and shortly something amazing happens… you catch your second wind.

Once we catch our second wind we feel great and we feel like we could play or run all day long, right? What happened there? Well, we kept moving our bodies and that eventually stirred our emotions into feeling like we were doing something worthy. Our emotions eventually got to our mind and triggered a rationalizations mechanism in which our minds then configured an answer to why continuing this activity was logical.

Let’s look at another example. Have you ever felt really lazy and straddled with that blah feeling that leaves you feeling a little blue? I bet during those blah times you just couldn’t seem to muster up the energy needed to get your tired and drained body off the couch, huh? What happened when a friend came by and dragged you off of the couch and out of the house to go do something? Once your friend finally got you off the kryptonite couch, how did you feel? Pretty good, huh? You felt emotionally connected to your friend as well as the activity that you found yourself doing, didn’t you? This is one of the secrets to life, so get up and get going!

Now please share with the rest of us how you plan to use Granddaddy’s secret of,  ”Motion Creates Emotion!”
