Give to Get!
We’ve all heard that old saying of you get out of life what you put into it. The problem is that we’ve heard this saying so many times that we’ve been desensitized to it. Without someone actually walking us through the old maxim and MAKING us understand “giving to get,” most of us never truly benefit from that adage of you get out of life what you put into it. Sadly, the wisdom of these wise words has become a bit trite and meaningless to many of us.
I guess it’s just our human nature that basically causes us to lean toward laziness and indifference causing us to neglect sound advice. The problem really is social insecurity. For example, when we tell ourselves something we believe it. But, when others try to tell us how to live our lives, we tend to ignore them. We don’t want to be told what to do, and thus our inertia continues, regardless of how wise it is to do otherwise.
Now please understand this, the invisible, universal law of you get out of life what you put into it doesn’t care if you know it exists or not. Regardless, this universal law of “giving to get” will do its duty to work for you or against you just like the invisible, universal law of gravity does in making one fall or magically lifting one’s airplane up in route to their next wonderful tropical vacation.
So I must ask you now, why would any of us not do these things that I’m talking about above in giving to get? It’s simple math. If we put more into life, we’re certain to get more out of life. Hmm… I think you know what to do now.
