Those who have been following my Granddaddy’s Secrets are probably already aware of the progression of growth that the subtitles of my Granddaddy’s Secrets book series suggests. The first book’s subtitle of “Feeling Lucky?” means that the teen is still hoping to be successful someday. The second book’s subtitle, “Feeling Good.” represents how the teen is pretty sure that he is going to be successful someday. The subtitle of my third book is “Feeling Strong!” and it shows how the teen now knows that he is going to become successful someday.
So, what could possibly be beyond knowing that someday we are going to become successful? The next level of “Feeling Strong”. You see, after one truly believes that someday he or she is going to become successful, then the next step is to convince yourself that someday is today! It’s no longer planted in our minds that someday we will become successful. Rather, our being successful is now sprouting wildly with life in being successful right now!
How do we do that? How do we BE successful right now? How can we BE so lucky right now? Well, let’s go back to the recipe of luck that I have been trying to create over the last several years with my books, weekly columns, blogs, and speeches in which I presented luck as not something being given to us, but rather as being prepared when we meet up with opportunity. And now that we’ve been reminded of the real definition of luck, let’s go 
make sure that we do our homework and thoroughly prepare ourselves, so that today when opportunity knocks it won’t be as difficult as it used to be to BE lucky, and BE successful.
