We don’t have to check our piggy banks to know that we are already wealthy. Sadly, though, many of us have trouble understanding this reality because the numbers in some of our piggy banks don’t seem to add up to the true richness in our lives. Let’s not let some misleading numbers fool us and bankrupt our thoughts. Every one of us is already rich whether we know it already or not!
Let’s look at how fortunate we are! For example, do you see your parents? How about siblings, grandparents, cousins, and even uncles and aunts? Do you see friends? Every one of these people add to the richness of our life. How about teachers and coaches? Do you see any of these wealth and values adders around in your life? How about co-workers and bosses? Yup, they too add richness to the tapestry of our lives! Are you starting to feel fortunate and lucky yet?
Let’s turn over a few more rocks and see what else we can find. Do you see that school you go to? Well, guess what? You are a part owner of that school! All of the taxpayers in your community support that school and because you and your family pay taxes, you and your family are co-owners of that school. I bet you haven’t ever looked at your school like that before have you? You’re not just a student; you’re also an owner. So make sure your investment in yourself is worthwhile and you’re getting your money’s worth during those six hours you 
spend there every day.
