The other day I was driving home when some guy in a hurry cut me off and nearly caused me to crash my car!
My heart pounded from the near-crash, and I thanked my lucky stars that I was able to pull out of it and nobody was hurt.
I figured that I would let him know that I was alright; no harm, no foul right! I was prepared to give him the head-wave to let him know that he didn’t have to stop to check and see if I was okay. I was fine and he could keep going to where ever it was that he was headed to before this unfortunate near mishap.  I was basically looking to be magnanimous and  let him know that I wasn’t taking this personally. That’s when it happened and I could not believe my eyes.
I winced thinking I must be seeing it all wrong. I looked a second time a little closer and harder. Yup, my vision was right the first time, and boy was I getting MAD!!!
That guy that was totally at 100% fault for almost causing me to crash was giving me the middle-finger as if this whole mess was all my fault!
My temperature boiled and it was about to spill over! I was about to chase him and let him know LOUD and CLEAR how wrong he was!
That’s when I heard my Granddaddy’s voice saying, “Remember the miracle that you truly are!” With this wisdom I calmed down and felt bad for the guy. He had obviously forgotten the miracle that he truly is, or he wouldn’t have acted in such a poor way. I wasn’t about to make the same mistake he made by chasing him down and giving him a piece of my mind.
No! I would do the right thing and behave as the miracle that I truly am!
