Well, Flavian, something that you might not have heard of from your teachers and parents is that life is tough. Now, the fact that life is tough shouldn’t scare you. Sometimes tough is good because it forces you to step up to greater abilities, which is a good thing.
There are probably some adults in your life who didn’t want to tell you that life is tough because they were trying to keep you safe and happy. Perhaps they didn’t yet see how you’re going to make it in the big and sometimes cruel world out there.
Heck, maybe you don’t see how you’re going to make it, either, Flavian, but I have some great news for you. Somehow, you’re going to make it. And somehow, you’re going to do just fine, okay?
Another thing you probably haven’t been told yet is that you shouldn’t seek the perfect person to marry. NEWS FLASH!!! The perfect person to marry doesn’t exist. So, instead of searching for the perfect person to fall in love with, learn to see an imperfect person perfectly. Then you’ll be able to identify which imperfect person who will accompany you over all the bumps in the road.
Learning to spot your ideal soul mate is very important, Flavian, and no one really teaches us, or even truly even tells us much at all about selection process. Do not pick the prettiest girl. Do not pick the one you desire the most. Both will probably disappoint you, regardless of how good it feels in the beginning.
Take your time and really study people. Truly identify what makes them tick and if the two of you would be compatible. Once you learn to do this, then, and only then, should you consider choosing a life-long partner.
