It’s About A “7”!

It’s about a “7” is what I usually tell myself on any typical day. And it usually doesn’t matter what my schedule is, or who I’m with, it’s still about a “7”. Some times it may slide just a little under “7” or just a little over “7”, but it still is typically about a “7”.

By now your probably wondering what I’m talking about with all this, “about a ‘7’ talk”.

I’m talking about the degree of difficulty or stress I feel in my life everyday on a scale from 1-10. And since I’m human just like you, a “7” is also probably about the same degree of difficulty and stress you too feel in life everyday.

Now sometimes I try to cheat this “7” feeling, but it never seems to work. Some days I try to get away with doing a little bit less thinking that it will make my degree of difficulty or stress on that particular day a little bit less.

It never seems to work though. It’s almost like the master of the universe says, “Oh, okay, you only have a couple of things to do today, so we’re going to make you think about it, and worry about it all day long until they’re finally completed. ” End result:  Even with less to do on this particular day, my degree of difficulty and stress is still about a “7”.

Now the opposite is when I’m running around like crazy all day wondering how I’m a possibly going to get all this “stuff” done. The next thing I know,  I’m home getting ready for bed, wondering where the day went, and guess what? My degree of difficulty and stress for that crazy busy day was still about a “7”.

So the next time you’re thinking about taking the easy way out, like I was this morning as I was looking at myself in the mirror and brushing my teeth. I want you to do the same thing I did this morning. Spit out the toothpaste, rinse your mouth, look yourself square in the eye in the mirror and tell yourself, “My day is going to be about a “7” anyways, so I might as well do it all… And live my life to its fullest!”

Now, please share how you plan to use the success secret of It’s About a 7.

Thanks for your time,
