Practice alchemy! What? “What the heck is alchemy?” you’re probably thinking. Well, according to the dictionary it is:

  1. A medieval chemical philosophy having as its asserted aims the transmutation of base metals into gold, the discovery of the panacea, and the preparation of the elixir of longevity.
  2. A seemingly magical power or process of transmuting.

Now I know a whole bunch of you out there like the idea of the first definition of changing lead, iron, or some other cheap metals into gold and suddenly finding yourself as happy as a leprechaun sitting on a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Sorry everyone, but that’s not the one I’m going to talk about today. Besides, people have tried that for thousands of years and it just doesn’t work.

Now the real treasure is in the second definition which is often over-looked by most of us. So here is the marked X and here is where your pot of gold is buried. With a shovel if necessary, you need to transmute your old negative thoughts and memories into positive powerful and playful learning experiences that tool up your future for success and happiness.

Come on… Admit it! We all have at times day dreamed about some of our less than stellar past performances. Come on… You remember those moments that you have tried to sweep under the rugs of life. Those are the moments when you find yourself shuddering and trying to quickly change your thoughts to something else because your finding yourself embarrassed over the memory of a past poor performance.

Well, here’s the secret. Get your shovels ready! You can take those memories that you have been trying to forget and transmute them into something positive. What was the lesson that you were meant to learn. If you’ve learned it then you should be grateful for the less than pleasant experience because it moved you closer to a higher quality of life.

So now in the future, every time that that memory resurfaces hopefully you’ll remember this lesson and find yourself wearing that good old leprechaun smile.

Now please share how you plan to use the Secret of Success of Practicing Alchemy!
